Lakshmi Ishwar is a passionate observer of life and has been penning her thoughts in verse from a young age.  Many of her early poems have been lost.  Only of late, she has started compiling them.   Most of her poems and limericks that she shares widely in her circle of friends are her spontaneous response to situations in her life.

Lakshmi is an educator who has worked as a lecturer in an engineering college and also as a tutor for the British Open University.  She was a consultant to NSRCEL, an incubation cell for startups at IIMB.

An alumni of IISC, she is on the board of several social organizations like Art Mantram, FICCI Ladies Organization and YPO Gold South Asia.  She enjoys reading travelling, playing bridge and watching films.

Lakshmi is married to the love of her life, Ishwar Subramanian.  They have two sons Karan & Vivek and two beautiful daughter-in-law Pallavi and Vishaka.  Pallavi has painted the cover of this book.
